Project Focus
The Sandman
Sound Disposition provided all UK ADR services for both 11-episode seasons of this landmark TV series for Warner Bros and Netflix.
We also supported the production with pre-records of the musical numbers, including preparing backing tracks for on-set playback.

FAQs
What Microphones can you offer?
We have the most extensive microphone collection of any studio in the UK so can offer virtually any microphone you can imagine.
WHAT METHODS OF SESSION RELAY DO YOU SUPPORT?
As standard we support Zoom, Source Connect, Cleanfeed and SessionLinkPro. Some of these incur setup / usage fees. By special request we can also support Source Live, IpDTL, Audionmovers, and virtually any other relay method you can think of.
Can you record at high sample rates?
We record at 48kHz, 24bit for the vast majority of our sessions; but we are able to and familiar with recording at 96kHz and even 192kHz if required.
What do you use for ADR cueing, streamers and Beeps?
By default we use Sounds In Sync Edicue and Ediprompt. We can ingest and convert cues from virtually any source, including ADR Master, VoiceQ, PGPT, and even good old MS Excel.
Are you able to film the recording sessions?
If required, we are able to supply, setup and operate Blackmagic cameras and basic lighting setups for filming recording sessions whilst they are in progress. This can be done with timecode synchronisation if necessary. This is often helpful for animators, but can also be of use to podcasters and others. All sessions include basic audio/video relay via Zoom at no extra charge.
How do you deliver our files at the end of the session?
We have a number of secure methods for delivering files but our default is via Aspera.
Is our media secure?
All client media is securely transferred to our air-gapped production network, and is securely deleted at the end of the sessions.
CAN YOU RECORD Multiple people at once?
We have a variety of recording spaces which can accommodate recording anywhere from one to ten people simultaneously.
What about SONG pre-records?
Amongst are recordists are a number of classically-trained musicians with score-reading abilities and experience in the field of music recording. We have a number of instruments available including electronic keyboards, acoustic pianos, guitars etc. It's for this reason that we've been trusted to perform music pre-records on a range of projects including The Sandman, Ted Lasso and many more. We are able to deliver exactly the files required on location to get the best performances from actors, including guide tracks, click tracks and splits.
Can you do remote ADR SESSIONS?
We certainly can, and in fact are recognised as industry-leaders for our remote ADR facilities. During the Covid 19 pandemic we performed more that 100 remote ADR sessions across many countries and multiple continents. We have recorded a range of incredibly high-profile individuals, sometimes at their family homes, and always perform these sessions professionally, sensitively and discreetly.
