Music Supervision
Appropriate music is a fundamental part of a film’s soundtrack. Proper supervision ensures that your composer and sound designers efforts are harmonious rather than clashing, and that both are not spending large amounts of time in creating sounds when ultimately one will be stripped away during the mix.
We also make sure that all format and mixing standards are adhered to, most importantly ensuring the correct provision of stems as desired by the rerecording mixer.
We can also advise on licensing of commercial songs, library music, or sound clips taken from other copyrighted material, although on song-heavy projects, it is advisable to engage the services of a specialist in music clearance/licensing.
