Ill Manors paints as stark and as gripping a portrayal of modern-day British life as This is England did for the 1980’s. We follow the disparate lives of six Londoners, all struggling to survive the circles of violence that threaten to engulf them. Narratively inked together through Plan B’s original soundtrack, we see ex-dealer Kirby deal with life after prison, thug Ed on the hunt for his missing phone, young Jake who gets drawn into the local gang, Chris out for revenge, Katya desperate to escape, Michelle trying to escape her troubles through one more hit, and Aaron, just trying to do the right thing in a violent, uncompromising environment.
